Falooda Recipe

 Ingredients:


1/4 cup falooda seeds (basil seeds)

1/2 cup vermicelli noodles (sev)

2 cups whole milk

1/2 cup sugar

1 teaspoon rose water

1/4 teaspoon cardamom powder

1/2 cup strawberry syrup or any other fruit syrup

1/2 cup chopped fresh fruit (optional)

Ice cream (any flavor) for serving

Chopped nuts (optional) for garnish

Directions:


Soak the falooda seeds in 1 cup of water for 30 minutes. They will expand and become jelly-like in texture.

Cook the vermicelli noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

In a large saucepan, heat the milk over medium heat. Add the sugar, rose water, and cardamom powder, and stir until the sugar dissolves. Remove from heat and let it cool.

In a glass or bowl, add a spoonful of cooked vermicelli noodles, then add a spoonful of soaked falooda seeds. Pour in some of the milk mixture and a spoonful of strawberry syrup. Add chopped fruit if desired.

Top with a scoop of ice cream and garnish with chopped nuts.

Serve chilled and enjoy your delicious Falooda!

Note: You can add any fruit syrup of your choice and experiment with different flavors of ice cream for variety.
