Paneer Sabji

Paneer Sabji 

 Ingredients:


200 grams paneer, cut into cubes

1 onion, chopped

1 tomato, chopped

1 green chilli, chopped

1 teaspoon ginger paste

1 teaspoon garlic paste

1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder

1/2 teaspoon red chilli powder

1/2 teaspoon cumin powder

1/2 teaspoon coriander powder

Salt to taste

2 tablespoons oil

1/2 cup water

Coriander leaves, chopped (for garnishing)

Instructions:


Heat oil in a pan on medium heat. Add chopped onions and sauté till they turn translucent.


Add ginger paste, garlic paste and chopped green chilli to the pan. Sauté for a minute.


Add chopped tomatoes to the pan and mix well. Cook for 2-3 minutes until the tomatoes become soft.


Add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, cumin powder, coriander powder and salt to the pan. Mix well and cook for 1-2 minutes.


Add the paneer cubes to the pan and mix well. Cook for 2-3 minutes until the paneer cubes become slightly golden in color.


Add 1/2 cup of water to the pan and mix well. Cover the pan and let it cook on medium heat for 5-6 minutes.


After 5-6 minutes, remove the lid and stir the paneer sabji. Cook for another 2-3 minutes till the water has dried up.


Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve hot with roti, naan or rice.
