Bhindi Ki Sabji Recipe

Bhindi ki Sabji

 Ingredients:

500g bhindi (okra), washed and chopped

2 onions, finely chopped

2 tomatoes, finely chopped

1 tsp cumin seeds

1 tsp mustard seeds

1 tsp turmeric powder

1 tsp coriander powder

1 tsp cumin powder

1/2 tsp red chili powder

Salt to taste

2 tbsp oil

Fresh coriander leaves, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions:

Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.

Add cumin seeds and mustard seeds, and let them splutter.

Add chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.

Add chopped tomatoes and cook until they turn soft and mushy.

Add all the spices – turmeric powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, red chili powder, and salt to taste. Mix well.

Add chopped bhindi and mix well with the onion-tomato masala.

Cover the pan and cook for 10-15 minutes or until the bhindi is cooked through.

Keep stirring occasionally, to avoid the bhindi from sticking to the bottom of the pan.

Once the bhindi is cooked, turn off the heat.

Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve hot with roti or rice.

Enjoy your delicious bhindi ki sabji!
