Mutton Curry Recipe

Ingredients:
1 kg mutton, cut into bite-sized pieces
2 onions, chopped
4 garlic cloves, minced
2-inch piece of ginger, minced
2 tomatoes, chopped
2 green chillies, sliced
1 tsp turmeric powder
2 tsp red chilli powder
1 tsp coriander powder
1 tsp cumin powder
1 tsp garam masala powder
Salt, to taste
2 tbsp oil
2 cups water
Coriander leaves, chopped (for garnish)
Directions:

Heat the oil in a pressure cooker over medium heat.

Add the onions and sauté until they turn golden brown.

Add the garlic and ginger and sauté for another minute.

Add the mutton pieces and sauté until they turn brown.

Add the tomatoes, green chillies, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, garam masala powder, and salt. Mix well.

Add water and stir again.

Close the pressure cooker and cook on high heat until the first whistle. Then, reduce the heat to low and cook for another 15-20 minutes.

Turn off the heat and let the pressure cooker cool down naturally.

Open the pressure cooker and transfer the mutton curry to a serving dish.

Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot with steamed rice or naan.
