Homemade Veg Cake
Ingredients:
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup granulated sugar
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1/3 cup vegetable oil
2 tbsp white vinegar
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups water
Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C).
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking soda, and salt.
In a separate mixing bowl, whisk together the vegetable oil, white vinegar, and vanilla extract.
Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and stir until combined.
Slowly add the water to the batter, stirring continuously until the batter is smooth and free of lumps.
Pour the batter into a greased 9-inch cake pan.
Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.
Once the cake has cooled, you can frost it with your favorite frosting or sprinkle powdered sugar on top.
