Chilli Chicken Recipe


Ingredients:

500g boneless chicken, cut into small cubes

1/2 cup cornflour

2 tablespoons oil

1 teaspoon chopped garlic

1 teaspoon chopped ginger

2 green chillies, chopped

1 onion, sliced

1 capsicum, sliced

1 tablespoon soy sauce

1 tablespoon tomato ketchup

1 teaspoon vinegar

Salt to taste

Chopped spring onions, to garnish

Instructions:


First, marinate the chicken cubes with 2 tablespoons of cornflour and a pinch of salt. Keep it aside for 10-15 minutes.


Heat oil in a pan and add chopped garlic, ginger, and green chillies. Sauté them for a minute.


Add sliced onions and capsicum to the pan and fry for 2-3 minutes.


In a separate bowl, mix soy sauce, tomato ketchup, vinegar, and 1 tablespoon of cornflour with water to form a smooth paste.


Add the marinated chicken to the pan and fry until the chicken turns golden brown.


Pour the sauce mixture over the chicken and vegetables and stir well until the sauce thickens and coats the chicken and vegetables.


Garnish with chopped spring onions and serve hot with rice or noodles.
