Veg Bombay Sandwich Recipe
Ingredients:
8 slices of bread
2 medium-sized potatoes, boiled, peeled and sliced
1 small onion, sliced
1 medium-sized tomato, sliced
1 small cucumber, sliced
1 small beetroot, boiled, peeled and sliced
1/2 teaspoon chaat masala
1/2 teaspoon cumin powder
Salt to taste
Butter, softened
Green chutney
Tomato ketchup
Instructions:
Take 2 slices of bread and spread green chutney on one side of each slice. On one of the slices, place a few slices of boiled potatoes, onions, tomatoes, cucumbers, and beetroot.
Sprinkle some chaat masala, cumin powder, and salt on the vegetables. Cover with the other slice of bread, chutney side down.
Spread a thin layer of butter on top of the sandwich and place it on a preheated sandwich maker or a griddle.
Cook the sandwich on both sides until it's golden brown and crisp.
Remove the sandwich from the heat and cut it into halves or quarters.
Serve hot with tomato ketchup on the side.
Repeat the same process with the remaining bread slices and vegetables to make more sandwiches. Enjoy your delicious Veg Bombay Sandwich.
