Egg Tawa Masala Recipe

Ingredients:

4 boiled eggs, peeled and cut in half

2 medium-sized onions, finely chopped

2 medium-sized tomatoes, finely chopped

1 green chili, finely chopped

1 tsp ginger-garlic paste

1 tsp red chili powder

1/2 tsp turmeric powder

1 tsp coriander powder

1 tsp cumin powder

1 tsp garam masala powder

Salt, to taste

2 tbsp oil

Fresh coriander leaves, for garnishing

Instructions:

Heat oil in a pan/tawa on medium heat. Once hot, add chopped onions and sauté until they turn golden brown.

Add ginger-garlic paste and chopped green chili to the pan and sauté for another minute.

Add chopped tomatoes to the pan and stir well. Cook until the tomatoes turn soft and mushy.

Now add all the dry spices - red chili powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, and garam masala powder. Mix well and cook for 2-3 minutes.

Add salt to taste and mix well.

Gently place the boiled egg halves on top of the masala mixture in the pan/tawa.

Spoon some of the masala mixture on top of the eggs and let them cook for 5-7 minutes on low heat, until the masala has thickened and the eggs are heated through.

Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot with naan, roti, or rice.

Enjoy your delicious Egg Tawa Masala!
